Cup o' Quest - Core book
A downloadable game
Welcome to Cup o' Quest! A game about getting to know your party members better and growing with them while crawling through some dungeons. In Cup o' Quest you can:
- Be any kind of creature you want
- Increase the die size you roll as you get stronger and gain experience
- Choose from a range of feats to really define and customize your character
- Use a free-form magic system where you can cast just about anything you can think of
Why We made this game
The original idea for this game was to make something that used all the general dice sizes used in OSR games. We came up with using a die system that, as you gained more experience and invested in your character, increased the die used translating into getting more raw ability.
What it turned into is a dungeon crawler with a downtime system that simultaneously helps you create your character's background, builds on interpersonal relationships in the party and allows you to benefit from knowing those party members.
Inspirations
Cup o' Quest was inspired by MÖRK BORG and Pathfinder for the dungeon crawling while using Wanderhome, Delicious in Dungeon, and Adventure TIme for downtime.
